What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Home Center position at STEVES AND SONS INC?
This position will be expected to fulfill the requirements as outlined below under Key Responsibilities. The position will be responsible for various accounts receivable data entry and clerical work which includes posting accounts receivable data in a confidential and timely manner and producing various ad-hoc reports. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the leadership skills to direct and oversee the work of at least two clerical team members and demonstrate an analytical, problem-solving mindset. This role is a key support function for the Home Center team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Input data such as invoices, checks received, deposits, account statements, reports, and other records.
- Provide regular communication to management regarding status of account collections.
- Reconciliation of customer accounts and cash receipts.
- Running missing invoice queries and searching for missing invoices.
- Navigating, reporting and maintenance tasks using the Home Depot Portal
- Responsible for the collections process, including assembling and submission of dispute packages.
- Accurate posting of entries to ensure period closing is completed on time.
- Analyze processes and workflow and identify opportunities to promote efficiency, organization, and accuracy.
- Other administrative tasks to support the business, including clerical work, answering phones and other duties.
