Stonington Institute is committed to providing quality substance abuse treatment options for adults in Southeastern Connecticut and surrounding areas. We offer medical detox as well as residential addictions treatment for active duty and retired military service members in our North Stonington location. Our clinic in Groton, CT, offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment, and is conveniently located across the street from The Inn at Trails Corner, a new 180 bed dormitory-style sober community for adult men and women who attend our outpatient day treatment programs. The Inn offers overnight accommodations, full-meal service, indoor/outdoor recreation options, a workout room, and computer center for all clients. We accept private insurance, state-funded plans and self-pay arrangements.

Job Summary
The Outpatient Program Director ensures that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered by the department, in keeping with the program’s goals and objectives. The Outpatient Program Director is responsible for program development, implementation and on-going oversight for outpatient treatment services. The Outpatient Program Director ensures that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered by provides direct client care specific to each client’s needs and assures each client is at the appropriate level of care. The Outpatient Program Director assures compliance with regulatory, accreditation and facility requirements through monitoring, auditing, and staff supervision, particularly with regard to timeliness and content of documentation. The Outpatient Program Director utilizes information derived from audits to design and implement staff training to improve documentation quality.
Qualifications
Independent clinical licensure in State of Connecticut (LCSW, LADC, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist). A minimum of three (3) years working with adult substance abuse and dual diagnosis populations and three (3) years experience supervising staff.
