The CNO Is a strong team-oriented leader, committed to creating a supportive and accountable environment that drives nursing to the next level of patient care and provides a venue for learning and professional development. As an integral member of the healthcare team and a liaison among administration, the medical staff and department directors, the successful CNO is a role model who leads by example and facilitates communication and change while overseeing and guiding the delivery of safe, quality services.
