Position Summary : We are seeking skilled Building Code Plan Examiners / Reviewers with certification as Building Inspectors to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing construction plans, inspecting building projects, and enforcing compliance with local and state building codes. This position involves assessing residential, commercial, and industrial projects to ensure safety, structural integrity, and adherence to zoning laws and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review building plans and permit applications to confirm compliance with local and state building codes
• Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure adherence to approved plans and applicable codes
• Communicate code requirements clearly to architects, contractors, and property owners, providing guidance on necessary changes or adjustments
• Issue violation notices or stop-work orders for projects that fail to meet code standards
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, reviews, and enforcement actions
• Stay current on building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards, applying updates as necessary
• Collaborate with other inspectors, engineers, and enforcement officers to address complex code issues
