Role Overview: The Loan Servicing & Mail Processing Representative acts as a key resource for the organization, supporting members and staff with various loan servicing needs. The primary responsibility is to handle the collection and processing of mail related to loan payments and inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares and sends declination letters to ensure regulatory compliance following established procedures.
- Generates and distributes credit score disclosure notices.
- Prepares payoff letters for vehicle and real estate-secured loans.
- Processes payoff transactions for vehicle and real estate-secured loans.
- Prepares mortgage satisfaction documents and coordinates their recording.
- Provides assistance to members by addressing inquiries and offering support in person and over the phone.
- Supports document scanning and mailing operations.
- Handles incoming and outgoing mail and package services.
- Provides backup support to other departmental staff as needed.
- Contributes to the credit union's mission by performing additional duties as assigned by management or other team members.
Essential Qualifications:
Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalency certification and up to six (6) months of administrative experience is required.
- Proficiency in computer operations and software applications.
- Proven experience in delivering exceptional member/customer service.
- Strong independent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication abilities with members and external stakeholders.
- Clear and articulate verbal and written communication skills.
