Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service during busy periods, especially during banquets or special events.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu offerings to provide recommendations to guests.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a fine dining, nightclub, or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with clover/square POS systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the food industry and banquet service is beneficial but not required.
