Sullivan’s Landscaping is currently accepting applications for a Spray Technician Trainee. This role involves the safe and accurate application of fertilizers and pesticides to landscape lawns, trees, and shrubs using various application methods, tools, or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: spraying/spreading fertilizer/pesticide, loading trucks, cleaning & maintaining trucks/equipment and shop area, and sod laying. Flexibility and consistent attendance are a must. Must speak Industry standard English fluently
Responsibilities:
- Promote and enhance the positive and professional image of SULLIVAN’S LANDSCAPING AND MAINTENANCE,
- Maintain and care for and secure all equipment, uniforms, materials, and tools provided for the job.
- Maintain, care for and secure your specific maintenance area, shops, and yard.
- Solve Problems.
- Complete daily work orders and DDA Log correctly and neatly.
- Complete Customer Notifications on each job site.
- Operation of Spray Truck and Spray Equipment
- Comply with all traffic laws including seat belts, and cell phone usage.
- Operation of turf fertilizer spreader (push spreader and/or ride-on)
- Ensure all work is performed as directed and to company standards.
- Carry all required documentation at all times.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and forthright manner and report all customer concerns to your supervisor.
Performance Expectations:
- Consistent Attendance is a requirement.
- Report to work on time.
- Be properly dressed to Sullivan’s Standards.
- Follow all company rules and regulations.
- Work safely.
- Be mindful of the customer's property to prevent damage.
- Be aware of the individual requirements of the job for each individual customer.
