We are looking for a/an Balance Supervisor to join our Services_AME team in United States .

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Manages and oversees projects as assigned by the Balance Department Manager in accordance with Sulzer guidelines and procedures.
• Issues jobs by priority to qualified personnel. Assign work projects to Leads. Control work flow of projects.
• Supervises and directs Balance Dept. personnel to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely completion of assigned projects (including administration of personnel aspects, time keeping / approving, PTO request and scheduling, attendance issues, disciplinary issues, etc.)
• Work with Balance Manager to ensure department has all tools and supplies needed for work.
• Responsible for ensuring environmental procedures are established and followed. Responsible for ensuring quality procedures are established and followed
• Responsible for providing a challenging and positive work environment, to retain the best and brightest employees, and improve morale
• Be aware of trends in market technology and make efforts to maintain superiority within the turbo machinery industry
  
  

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Engineering Degree with 1 years of hands-on turbo machinery experience and/or 5 years hands-on experience in a technical role
• Supervisor or Lead experience a plus
• Knowledge and understanding of turbo machinery repair and the balance department
