Sunless, Inc is a leading innovator in spray tanning technology and skincare solutions, offering premium tanning booths and at-home skincare products. Our mission is to revolutionize the sunless tanning industry by providing cutting-edge technology and high-quality formulations to both B2B and B2C customers. We are seeking a passionate Brand Manager with some experience in beauty, specifically skincare, who wants to thrive and grow in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Summary :
The Brand Manager is the brand equity owner, charged with driving all key elements of the brand to meet business objectives. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, content creation, campaign development, pricing strategies, and forecasting as well as generating business analyses & reporting, supports all product development and innovation but has a focus on the brands automated spray booth growth, promotional planning and execution, and consumer and customer communication. The Brand Manager works heavily with internal and external stakeholders to champion the brand strategies and plans throughout the organization.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Business Analytic / Reporting
Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing strategies for both B2B and B2C markets.
Track, monitor and report overall brand performance, health of the brand / business, consumer behavior metrics and ROI of campaigns.Analyze data to draw insights and conclusions to make tactical business recommendations related to the business environment, competitors, customers, market trends and marketing mix / spend.Marketing Development & ExecutionDevelop holistic marketing plans that serve our consumer and customer needs, and ladder to brand strategy.
Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform brand strategy.Lead creative development processes, including developing creative briefs.Oversee content creation and campaign development to enhance brand awareness and engagement & deliver post program analyses to management.Drive online and offline business through creation and optimization of consumer / customer journey (e.g. website, social, etc.).Drive retail pricing strategies and forecasting to optimize sales and profitability.Manage & build relationships with agency & creative partners, providing clear communication of brand strategies and goals.Be the voice of the consumer & customer. Develop and deliver case studies and customer / consumer insights to support sales and marketing initiatives.Work with internal social / marketing team to devise a digital / social strategy to drive awareness and lead generation.Work with creative team to manage the design, production, and messaging for all brand marketing & communication collateral, including sales brochures, event flyers, print and digital advertisements, web banners / emails, etc. ensuring brand messaging is cohesive across all channels, including digital, retail, and direct sales.Product Development & InnovationCollaborate with product development to launch skincare innovations.
Work closely with the field sales team, R&D, technical team and other groups to ensure successful new products from concept to launch.Build business case for new items / segments that ladders to the brand strategy. Conduct market research, where appropriate, to validate new white space areas and new product opportunities.Strategy / PlanningIn conjunction with marketing team & marketing leadership, recommend / create annual brand plans and budgets.
Participate in / lead strategic cost savings initiatives and recommendations for portfolio / sku optimization.Develop price and promotion strategies and tactics to drive profitable growth.Strong communication & collaboration with entire marketing team and across multiple departments.Quickly pivot and problem-solve in response to market challenges and crises, delivering positive outcomes.Other job responsibilities as assignedSkills / Characteristics Needed for Success :
5-7 years of experience in brand management, marketing strategy, and campaign development, preferably in beauty, skincare, or wellness industries.Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing dynamics.Passion for the beauty industry, specifically skincare and tanning.Proven experience with retail pricing strategy, forecasting, and P&L management.Have a track record of resourcefulness (finding a way no matter the obstacle) and independent initiative.Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.A strategic thinker and creative problem solver with a solution-oriented mindset.Strong ability to analyze data and think critically.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.Ability to shift and adapt to changing priorities; proactively anticipating obstacles and seeking alternatives to keep projects on track.Physical Requirements :
The person in this position normally works in an office environment and must be able to remain stationary most of the day behind a desk utilizing a PC and telephone. The position requires periodic trips into the plant and occasionally moving up to 20 pounds.
Travel :
Some car travel is required. Occasional overnight travel : possible overnight / flight travel. Hours vary according to need. With notice, must be available nights and weekends for planned events.
