Sunrise Services is seeking a receptionist to join our Supported Living team!

The receptionist will provide a welcoming atmosphere to guests and clients by greeting visitors and directing phone calls to the appropriate department. This position also provides administrative support to the team, and the Urgent Call Center.

Sunrise Services is a social services agency that focuses on providing for the unmet needs of vulnerable individuals in our community and honor our employees who serve them. We provide caregiving services, behavioral health resources, vocational services, and much more! Our work is essential and dedicated to serving those who are elderly, disabled, or have mental health challenges.
The Supported Living Program offers assisted-living services to adults with a wide variety of developmental disabilities and varying levels of skill and independence. At Sunrise, we promote a high quality of life, self-determination, and independence, by providing needed support for daily living tasks.

Essential Functions:
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering questions and referring inquires to the appropriate person
- Maintains employee and department directories; Routes calls to work groups and other divisions and departments
- Supports the SL Director with tasks as assigned
- Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation
- Maintains safe, clean and professional reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Models a positive, proactive and priority-focused communication style which encourages collaboration and allows space for all voices to be heard, with the goal of improving the quality of life of our team and our clients
- Maintains continuity among work groups by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs and reporting those to the SL Director
- Ensures the vehicle keys are distributed to the correct people and the vehicle calendar is kept up to date
- Coordinates the vehicle sign out process
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Helps maintain working equipment; printers, copiers, fax machines
- Facilitates communication between departments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: 1 year preferred
Licensure/Certification: Obtain CPR/ First Aid Certification, WA State Driver's License, car insurance with a minimum of $50,000 liability, and acceptable driving record. Attend training required by applicable laws.
Other Considerations: Lift heavy boxes and use a 3-level ladder. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have strong communication skills.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Compensation:
$19.50/hour
