What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Fence Installer/Laborer position at Superior Fence and Rail?
Primary Responsibilities
· Complete required training and attend additional training if needed
· Inspect trucks/trailers for fencing projects and gather information to ensure there are no electric cables or utility lines on the route
· Travel to fencing projects in company truck with all crew members
· Organize and securely load truck/trailers with job supplies and materials
· Measure and lay out fence lines according to the fence job order and survey to ensure installed correctly
· Use appropriate equipment in a safe and secure manner
· Assist with warranty and repairs as needed
· Install fence panels, gates and posts according to Superior Fence & Rail standards
· Unload and clean truck/trailer properly at the end of each day
· Pleasant and professional attitude with clients and co-workers
· Execute pre-install walkthrough and final walkthrough
· Make runs as needed for install jobs and crews
· Perform other duties as assigned
Experience
Ø Previous experience is desired but not required – training is available
Ø Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ø Must have a valid driver’s license
Ø Required to read plans, follow verbal and written instructions and must obey applicable safety regulations
Ø Must be able to pass a background check and pass a drug screening
Ø Polished and professional demeanor
Ø Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ø Candidate must be punctual and dependable
Ø Basic computer skills
Ø Ability to work independently
Ø Ability to treat others with respect and gain trust and respect from clients and coworkers
