What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at Supreme Staffing?
Requirement:
2-3 years of experience
- Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift, (Reach Truck experience is a plus)
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.
- Work OT when needed (last minute request will occur)
- Attendance and punctuality are important.
- Must be able to work in a congested area(s)
- RF scanner experience / scanning is a plus.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Drug Testing
5 or 10 panel instant drug test
Backgrounds
No felonies at any time involving theft, burglary, aggravated cases or cases of severity.
If there is a felony within 7 years it must not be anything noted above, must not involve several other convictions meaning a habitual offender and will depend on how recent. . If you have a person convicted of a felony within 7 years, please get with me before submitting them to an opening at Palmer. It is possible they may meet our criteria.
Hiring Requirements
Eligible to work in the US
Highschool Diploma or GED
Read, write and speak English
Ability to perform the job function responsibilities
The handling of equipment, if applicable
Hours: Monday thru Friday 7am to 4:00pm or 8am to 5:00pm (Able to work OT when required, including weekends)
Additional information: not limited to just driving forklift - must label, band, stretch wrap and clean drums and totes. Some restacking of bags and pails will be required. Bending, lifting, stretching, and working on feet for extended periods of time is required.
