Payroll Processor

We are expanding in a big way and have added on a new position of a Payroll Processor. We offer flexible hours, while still working a 40-hour, M-F week. This position is responsible for preparing and processing payroll, along with all general payroll department duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process end to end payroll in PrismHR
• Maintain payroll records including direct deposits, benefit withholdings, payroll deductions, garnishments, and applicable taxes
• Verify timecards & entries for all applicable employees.
• Communicate with clients to make any adjustments and ensure that employees are paid accurately.
• Review payroll reports for accuracy of processing and resolve any issues
• Assist with year-end processing including auditing records and W2 issuance

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of payroll processing experience preferred
• Excellent computer skills
• Understanding of payroll procedures, laws, taxes, and best practices
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Precise attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
