Summary
Support manufacturing environment by completing maintenance activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Complete preventative maintenance on machinery.
Perform minor repairs.
Maintain a safe and productive workplace.
Troubleshoot and / or repair facility, operations and portable equipment as defined by the company.
Complete necessary documentation associated with the equipment maintenance program.
Propose recommendations to improve the equipment.
Required to travel and perform maintenance duties, as needed.
On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled.
Ensure awareness of, and compliance with, relevant company / customer QHSE requirements.
Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.
Education / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred
Five years of hydraulic, pneumatic and / or electrical applications preferred
Three to five years of CNC controller and / or manual machine experience preferred
Equivalent combination of experience and / or training.
Knowledge / Skills / abilities
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to use and apply basic math skills.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Complete tasks and follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
Accurately complete / maintain necessary reports / records in a timely and legible manner, in accordance with applicable procedures and / or work order..
