As we expand to include tasting menus, à la carte offerings, a full beverage program, and an extensive wine program at our new, larger location. We are seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our operations, drive business growth, and cultivate a world-class hospitality team.
Job Summary
The General Manager will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service, financial efficiency and a strong team culture. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of high-end hospitality, strong business acumen and the ability to build a positive and productive work environment. As Tadhna expands to include a tasting menu, a la carte offerings, a full beverage program, and an extensive wine program. The General Manager will play a critical role in leading this growth and managing operations at our new, larger location. Key Responsibilities
Operations & Guest Experience
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth and exceptional dining experience.
- Maintain and enforce high service standards aligned with Michelin-level hospitality.
- Manage reservation systems, guest relations, and service recovery efforts.
- Ensure all licensing, health codes, and safety regulations are met.
Financial & Business Management
- Manage budgets, monitor P&L statements, and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
- Control costs, including labor, food, and beverage expenses, to maintain profitability.
- Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, and purchasing to optimize efficiency.
- Manage payroll, tip distribution, and staff scheduling to ensure productivity and compliance.
Team Leadership & Development
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing front-of-house (FOH) team.
- Foster a collaborative, professional, and inclusive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
- Lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing training to maintain service excellence.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, workplace policies, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain all required permits and licenses, including food service and beverage service.
- Oversee workplace safety procedures and emergency protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience in fine dining or high-end hospitality.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of team building and operational success.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, inventory, and cost controls.
- Knowledge of reservation and POS systems (e.g. Toast, etc.).
- Experience in Michelin-starred or high-profile restaurants is a plus.
- Familiarity with Filipino cuisine or a strong willingness to learn is highly valued.
Work Schedule & Requirements
- Full-time position, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must have or be willing to obtain Food Protection Certification (ServSafe or NYC DOH).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 30 lbs as necessary.

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
