Talley LLC. is a leading distributor of wireless communications infrastructure and mobile product. Talley has served the market since 1983 and we stock more than 200 of the top industry manufacturers. Talley currently has eleven distribution centers nationwide, with our corporate facility located in Los Angeles.
Job Summary: The Warehouse Support responsibilities include receiving and put away, small parcel shipping, will call administrative support duties, prioritization of cable cutting, and scrap cable management.
Essential Job Functions:
- Unloads inbound shipments, checks inbound materials in, receives material into the prelude system, labels, and puts away materials with a barcode scanner
- Prioritizes the cable cut planning and processing
- Manages the reporting of scrap cable
- Identifies small parcel, full truckload, less than truckload, heavy weight air, will call/customer pickup orders and routes them to the appropriate shipping area.
- Processes packages via the small parcel shipping terminal
- Sets pickup appointments, loads orders, obtains signatures and confirms will call orders
- Loads small parcel and truck shipments
- Additional job duties can be added at anytime
Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
- Be organized with attention to detail
- Experience using a handheld scanner and forklift
- Minimum Education (or substitute experience) High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong background in distribution center operations
- Proficient in picking & packing techniques
- Familiarity with RF scanners and materials handling
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
- Ability to read and write in English and understand Basic Math
