TASC has a great opportunity for a 2nd shift Custodian. Hours of the position are 3:00 p.m. - 11pm, Monday-Friday, a year-round 260 day position. This position is responsible for providing effective custodial services by keeping the premises of the Slinger School buildings clean and orderly. Work involves facility custodial service, using proper concepts and procedures. The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the TASC Supervisor.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and clean up after various co-curricular events.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, fieldhouse, and other building areas using proper concepts and procedures outlined in the Custodial Policy and Procedure Manual.
- Sweep, mop, scrub to maintain clean floors.
- Replenish supplies, disinfect and clean restrooms, locker rooms, and shower facilities.
- Empty waste baskets, transport trash, waste, and recyclable products to the disposal area.
- Clean and vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
- Dust furniture and office equipment; polish metal work including water fountains, door handles, sinks, and faucets.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Operate custodial equipment including, but not limited to, vehicles, auto scrubbers, vacuums, carpet extractors, leaf blowers, sweepers, and swing machines.
- Communicates and builds a positive culture among the employees and school staff.
- Assists with the summer cleaning program.
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness throughout the building.
- Maintains the inventory of products and supplies in custodial closets.
Education:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
Good interpersonal and phone skills, ability to use appropriate e-mail programs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
