Job Description

As a member of the Ryan Platform client services team, this position will help us deliver on our TaxFeed product subscriptions. TaxFeed is Ryan's proprietary property tax data product that brings a client's property tax data to their property tax management system. This product allows its users to spend less time entering data, find issues quickly, more accurately budget and forecast their tax expense, have greater success in property tax appeals, and run a more efficient property tax department.

The Data Client Services Specialist will serve as the client's first point of contact for any questions or issues with their subscription. The Data Client Services Specialist will Primarily focus on building a relationship with our clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring that all of our teams are working together to meet those needs. Qualified candidates will take ownership of client issues and see them through to resolution, be thorough and detail-oriented, and be able to work across departments within Ryan to help deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities, Aligned with Key Results:

  • Continuously look for ways the team can achieve optimal efficiency.
  • Articulate technical issues or improvements to the development team.


Client:
  • Provide frequent updates to clients and address any questions or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Understand each client's unique business needs and ensure that our data products are structured in a way to help meet those needs.
  • Recognize, diagnose, and resolve any client issues.
  • Electronically deliver time-sensitive data to clients.
  • Consistently drive exceptional client service .


Value:
  • Desire and ability to learn some technical skills including running and writing database queries.
  • Desire and ability to learn the basics of several of the main property tax software systems in the market (Property Point, PTMS, OPT, Itam).


Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or any Technical degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Property Tax experience preferred (not required).
  • 2-4 years of experience in client services role.


Computer and Technology Skills:
  • Experience with PTMS, OPT, Itam or other commercially available property tax systems preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and basic Office products.
  • Experience running and writing basic SQL queries preferred.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • No supervisory responsibilities.


Work Environment:
  • Standard indoor working environment
  • Occasional long periods of sitting while working on the computer
  • Remote work allowed


Travel:
  • Less than 10%


Compensation:
  • For certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $65,000 - $85,800
  • For other California based locations, the base salary hiring range for this position is $64,500 - $78,650
  • For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $57,000 - $75,130
  • For New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $65,000 - $85,800
  • The Company makes offers based on many factors, including qualifications and experience.
