S. developer and operator of anaerobic digesters, converting organic waste and manure into renewable energy. With over 40 projects across 16 states, we are rapidly expanding into new markets to bring innovative, sustainable energy solutions nationwide.
Position Overview The RNG Pipeline Representative (Organic Solutions) will oversee new business opportunities for large commercial and industrial customers, manage gas supply interconnections, and build partnerships with midstream and distribution networks.
This role includes proactive business development, regulatory support, and customer contract negotiations to drive decarbonization and sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Pipeline Interconnections : Manage applications, cost estimates, contracts, and project funding, ensuring all requirements are met for pipeline interconnections.
Project Monitoring : Track engineering, design, and construction progress to ensure timely completion of interconnection facilities within budget.
Education & Outreach : Develop marketing materials, presentations, and conduct outreach to promote Vanguard's gas portfolio.
Business Development : Actively pursue new business opportunities, strengthening partnerships to enhance gas throughput and renewable integration.
Data Analysis : Analyze project data to identify trends, track goals, and provide strategic recommendations. Contract Negotiation : Assess new projects, propose negotiated rates, and present business cases to leadership.
Stakeholder Relations : Build and maintain strong partnerships with strategic programs, partners, and industry peers. Process Improvement : Benchmark with other utilities and third parties for continuous improvement and best practices.
Regulatory Support : Assist in regulatory activities, including writing testimonies, responding to data requests, and contributing to filings.
Minimum Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Certifications : Engineer in Training (EIT), Professional Engineering (PE) license, and / or PMP certification.
Experience : 7 years in the natural gas industry, preferably in midstream or downstream roles. 1 year in interconnections or new business development.
2 years in customer service and program / project management, including process improvement. Skills : Strong commercial negotiation, economic evaluation, and project management skills.
Proven sales record with strong lead generation, qualifying, and deal-closing abilities. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
