What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Analyst position at TDI Technologies?
TDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Specialist for the GEDEMS program on DDG 51 USS ARLEIGH BURKE class of destroyers. Candidate is responsible for analyzing and coordinating logistics data within an organization for inventory, procurement, transportation, and warehousing to ensure the efficient flow of goods and materials. Candidate may analyze logistics data, develop distribution strategies, and collaborates with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to meet business objectives and USN requirements. Function of the candidate may include providing lifecycle inventory support of material and asset management that are used at the sites as well as on the ships and other facilities.

Requirements:Education:
Individual should possess a High School diploma. Prior DoD or Military experience preferred.
Experience:
1. Two or more years’ experience in reviewing and resolving Diminishing Manufacturing and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues for US Navy systems.
2. Experience dealing with logistics and provisioning for Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems for US Naval ships preferred.
3. Familiarity with DoD and US Navy systems and tools for provisioning and logistics, including but not limited to Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Configuration Data Management Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA), and Haystack.
Skills:
1. Ability to resolve supply chain issues or provide recommendations.
2. Ability to organize and work within groups to address DMSMS issues.
3. Ability to navigate the DoD and US Navy organizations and their functions to collaborate or retrieve information regarding parts, supply chain, engineering, and maintenance.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance.
2. Must have a valid US passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance.
Travel:
This position may require up to 5% travel. Working remotely and or Hybrid for this position is potentially available.
