About the Position
We are seeking a Mid-Level Logistics Analyst to support a federal program management office in the National Capital Region. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client keep U.S. borders safe and facilitate trade and travel.
This position requires the ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance use, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.
Responsibilities:
- Support life cycle management and sustainment for our client's portfolio of programs, projects, demonstrations, and other efforts.
- Apply integrated logistics support (ILS) principles in support of planning, acquiring, and managing the operation of technology and capabilities to keep our borders safe and facilitate travel and trade.
- Collect, monitor, and track deployed system performance.
- Develop plans and metrics for maintenance and repair requirements, including physical inspection and physical checkout.
- Identify and help to resolve operating and support deficiencies.
- Assess operational and sustainment footprints.
- Develop strategies to optimize system performance.
- Assist with acquisition and implementation of operator and maintenance training program.
- Participate in system configuration control boards (CCBs) and support planning and implementation of system engineering changes.
- Participate in technical interchange meetings by developing briefing materials, meeting agendas, and minutes and tracking action items to resolution.
- Work with designated Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to stay abreast of contract changes, issues, and challenges.
- Prepare documents in support of COR to facilitate government acceptance of equipment, repairs, services, and other contract deliverables.
- Input, query, and analyze data from numerous CBP database sources, and prepare reports as requested.
- Perform Physical Inspection and Functional Check Out (PIFCO) for new and rework systems prior to deployment.
- Perform pre- and post-mission system inspection and testing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to support technology demonstration events.
- Provide special events' shipping, set up, and post-event services.
Qualifications:
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 4 years of logistics experience and a bachelor's degree in logistics management, business, or a related discipline; or 7 years of logistics experience.
- Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.

Desired Skills:
- Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection Public Trust Clearance preferred.
- DHS or DAWIA logistics certification desired.
- Preferred skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and SharePoint, with emphasis on analytical and presentation functions of each.
