Job Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level Logistics Analyst to support a federal program management office in the National Capital Region. This role requires augmenting our team's work in providing practical and efficient solutions to help our client keep U.S. borders safe and facilitate trade and travel.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will support life cycle management and sustainment for our client's portfolio of programs, projects, demonstrations, and other efforts. Key responsibilities include:
* Collecting, monitoring, and tracking deployed system performance
* Developing plans and metrics for maintenance and repair requirements
* Identifying and resolving operating and support deficiencies
* Assessing operational and sustainment footprints
* Developing strategies to optimize system performance
* Participating in technical interchange meetings and supporting planning and implementation of system engineering changes
* Working with designated Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to stay abreast of contract changes, issues, and challenges
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
* 4 years of logistics experience and a bachelor's degree in logistics management, business, or a related discipline; or 7 years of logistics experience
* Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written
* Ability to effectively solve problems, gather and validate requirements, and monitor contract technical performance
* Detail-oriented with strong time management and presentation skills
