Salary: $100,000 - $150,000, 10%-15% commission, and bonus potential
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Sales Executive specializing in Less-than-Truckload (LTL) sales. The ideal candidate will have a robust network of shipper connections and the ability to generate business within a short period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Utilize existing contacts to onboard small to midsize shippers onto our shipping platform for LTL shipments.
- Business Development: Engage with upper-level decision makers at larger shippers to gather historical shipping data and present savings-oriented proposals.
- LTL Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of LTL pricing, contracts, and the ability to acquire new shipper clients.
- Team Expansion: Develop a strong LTL brokerage and expand a team to manage operational needs for our customers.
- Parcel Shipping Knowledge: Possess a fundamental to advanced understanding of parcel shipping and contracts with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in LTL sales with a strong network of shipper connections.
- In-depth knowledge of LTL pricing and contracts.
- Experience in acquiring and managing new shipper clients.
- Ability to engage with C-Level executives and present compelling proposals.
- Understanding of parcel shipping and carrier contracts is a plus.
