Quality Inspector/Assembler

Work Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Duration: 9 months

Job Description:

The Quality Control Inspector 1 is responsible for ensuring the effective performance of testing, conforming to regulations and standards. This role involves the inspection and analysis of results, determining the final disposition of products, and detecting nonconforming conditions. The role works within clearly defined SOPs and scientific methods, adhering to quality guidelines and regulatory standards. The individual will identify basic non-compliance and maintain necessary licenses, training, and certifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to interpret drawings, geometric dimensions, and tolerances
• Proficient with standard measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, RAM optics, pin gauges, gage blocks, etc.)
• Experience with calibrated equipment and knowledge of maintenance procedures
• Previous participation in continuous improvement activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and inspections in compliance with regulatory standards
• Analyze test results and determine product disposition
• Detect nonconforming conditions and maintain quality control
• Adhere to all relevant SOPs, scientific methods, and regulations

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
