**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for eye care and providing exceptional patient service. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to improving patients' vision health.

**Duties:**

- Conduct preliminary patient screenings including visual acuity and other diagnostic tests

- Assist ophthalmologists with patient examinations and minor surgical procedures

- Perform diagnostic tests such as visual field testing, OCT scans, and fundus photography

- Educate patients on eye care procedures, medications, and post-operative care

- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in electronic health record systems

- Clean and maintain ophthalmic instruments and equipment

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients
