Primary Duties:
• Assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in industrial settings.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting machinery to identify and resolve issues.
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems.
• Operating hand power tools to complete installation and maintenance tasks.
• Aligning and leveling machinery using precision measuring tools.
• Welding, cutting, and fabricating metal components as needed.
• Following safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborating with other tradespeople and maintenance staff to complete projects.
• Documenting work activities and reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors.
Secondary Duties:
• Maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Participating in the development and improvement of maintenance procedures and protocols.
• Providing input for equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Assisting with the planning and execution of equipment installations and relocations.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to provide input on equipment design and functionality
• Conducting regular inspections and audits of machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with the preparation of work schedules and project timelines.
• Providing support for plant shutdowns and maintenance overhauls
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills:
• Basic knowledge of Hand Power Tools
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Knowledge of precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Willingness to learn
• Welding, Cutting, and Fabrication Skills.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
