The Carlstar Division of Titan International is seeking an Ecommerce Developer based out of the Franklin, TN corporate office. This role will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally within the organization to further the division’s digital strategy, including managing Ecommerce platforms, websites, portals, and omni-channel capabilities. The successful candidate in this role will be an excellent communicator, well organized, and have advanced problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively to provide technical solutions that promote efficiency, supply insights into technological trends, and guide the future of the divisional Ecommerce platform.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provides subject matter expertise in all areas of Ecommerce, including divisional fulfillment and marketing brand applications.
- Works collaboratively with cross functional teams to build and document technical requirements and support of all Ecommerce applications including the design, building, implementation, and maintenance of front-end components, code templates, themes, and interfaces of applications such as Magento, WordPress, and custom systems while ensuring adequate security measures.
- Builds and maintains Ecommerce systems and integrations including Service Oriented Architectures, Web Services, SOAP APIs, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL.
- Performs design and code reviews to assist in maintaining code quality, performance, and application responsiveness.
- Assists with the development and support of customer ERP integrations including mapping data across multiple systems, including assisting with correcting production issues that impact order fulfillment with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree; or equivalent experience required.
- 5 years of experience with PHP and PHP frameworks, web services, and creating custom modules. Experience with Rest and SOAP APIs is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in Ecommerce and web development including platforms such as Magento, Adobe Commerce, Woocommerce, Word Press, or Shopify; including developing widgets and adapting advanced functionality to business needs.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PHP, MVC, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XML, XHTML, and JavaScript.
- Demonstrated proficiency with front-end developments, frameworks, and build technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout JS, Anguarl/VueJS/React, LESS/SASS, Grunt, Gulp, and Webpack.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and supporting custom ERP integrations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and written and oral communication skills are required.
- Ability to work outside standard working hours for emergency issues and scheduled maintenance projects as the need arises.
