The Country Club of Louisiana is looking to expand our catering & banquet event server and bartender team. We are seeking experienced individuals to provide top-tier service to our members and guests. Our banquet staff members are responsible for providing food and drink service at our special functions such as weddings, corporate dinners/luncheons, holiday parties, and other social and corporate gatherings.
To be a successful banquet staff member, you should possess excellent customer service, a willingness to learn, and strive to be a team player. As we move into our busy season, we are looking to expand our team of motivated, efficient, and service-oriented staff members.
Job Types: Banquet Server, Banquet Busser, Banquet Bartender
Responsibilities:
- Assist in setup and breakdown of banquet area
- Greet and respond to guests requests in a courteous and professional manner
- Serve event food and beverage as directed by supervisor
- Clear dishware from tables to ensure a cleanly environment
- Attends pre-shift meetings to allow for a clear understanding of the event timeline
- Completion of any side work before end of shift
Special Requirements:
- Previous restaurant and/or catering experience
- Adherence to dress code and grooming standard
- Access to reliable transportation
- Customer service skills
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Professional and personable demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to handle multiple functions simultaneously
- Food and Beverage service knowledge
Physical Functions:

- Specific vision abilities include close vision, vision sufficient enough to read, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 40 lbs.
- Independent mobility through clubhouse.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
