Content Creator

Position Overview: The Content Creator will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our services and attract new clients. The Content Creator will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that promotes our services, engages our audience, and drives traffic to our website and social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:
 Create and execute digital campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and website.
 Create engaging content, including written copy, photographs, and videography, to showcase our services and attract potential clients.
 Collaborate to develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging and brand presence.
 Capture high-quality photographs and videos of treatments, procedures, and before-and-after transformations.
 Edit and enhance video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Canvas, and/ or other software applications to produce promotional materials.
 Create graphic designs and visual assets using relevant software applications for digital and print materials.
 Assist in organizing and promoting special events, workshops, and promotional offers

Expectations:
 Create and publish a minimum of 20 posts per month.
 Maintain an active and engaging social media presence with 5-10 posts and stories per week.
 Develop and execute at least one major content campaign per quarter.
 Continuously track and report on content performance metrics.
 Attend team meetings and contribute to content planning sessions.
 Stay informed about new treatments, services, trends and best practices in the medical spa industry to ensure content is relevant and up-to-date.
 Participate in events, photoshoots, and video shoots as required.

Skills:
 Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.

 Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and Illustrator, and Canva with strong video editing skills.
 Experience with photography and videography, including equipment operation and editing software.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
 Accountability and taking the initiative to create.
 Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines.
 Passion for skincare, beauty, and wellness industries and keeping up with current trends.

This is a part-time role with a firm cap of 24-28 hours per week / (3-4 days per week) with possible growth to a full-time position.

Candidate Requirements:

• Still photography and videography
• Editing (Reels, TikToks, short-form content)
• Canva
• SMS and CRM platforms
• Social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Planoly, Meta Business Suite)
• Basic graphic design and branding consistency
• Copywriting for social media captions, email marketing, and blog-style content
• Basic knowledge of SEO for social media and content optimization
• Trend analysis and ability to stay ahead of industry/social media trends
• Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and adapt to our brand aesthetic

Video Submission Guidelines:

Candidates should submit a 30-60 second video showcasing their content creation and storytelling abilities. The video should include:

• A brief introduction (who they are and their experience in content creation)
• A sample of their work (edited clips, photos, or a short piece of engaging content they’ve created)
• Why they would be a great fit for The Derm Lab Rx
• A short example of a social media post you would create for The Derm Lab Rx
