Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of the following PulsePoint location. 2015 Staples Mill Rd., Richmond, VA 23230


Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm


The Systems Analyst Advisor will define the functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.


How you will make an impact:


•    Create and perform feature testing and determine environmental needs.
•    Provide the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.
•    Partner with business, architecture, and infrastructure and oversee all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction.
•    Work with the IT learning organization to mentor and assist in training initiatives and perform estimates for application functionality enhancements.
•    Proactively work with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.
•    Develop use cases.
•    Ensure that the project team fully understands the project requirements specifications and that testing results correspond to the business expectations/needs.
•    Ensure high-level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and mapped to approved requirements.
•    Assist in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.
•    Coordinate with Customer SMEs, IT Managers, Offshore, and the onsite team for Business requirement gathering/Use cases and documents.
•    Document high-level business/ process flows.
•    Apply and mentor the use of tools to define requirements.
•    Anticipate and identify opportunities for improvement.

Minimum Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Six (6) years of experience in related occupation(s).

Additional Requirements:


Six (6) years of experience must include: 


•    Six (6) years of experience in the health care insurance industry. 
•    Four (4) years of experience developing business and technical requirements and managing the scope of business systems.
•    Four (4) years of experience with at least 2 of the following: JIRA, Confluence, Jira Align, or Bitbucket.
•    Five (5) years of experience in the following: Scrum, Agile, and DevOps.
•    Four (4) years of experience in the following: Build custom logic in healthcare.
•    Three (3) years of experience in the following: Mongo DB and Oracle.
•    Five (5) years of experience in the following: Work on real-time API enhancements.
•    Five (5) years of experience in the following: User acceptance testing, and system integration testing.
