What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at The Midwest Center for Sight?
Our busy, high technology ophthalmic practice is looking for an experienced and eager individual who is able to display good communication skills and maintain good working relationships with patients, co-workers and supervisors.
Candidate should have skills that include but are not limited to:
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records.
Performing visual field, OCT, pachymetry, IOL calculations, intraocular pressure checks.
Perform refractions.
Ability to work up patients by taking history and preliminary testing.
Minor surgical assisting.
Scribing with doctors.
COA certification preferred but not required.
