Where will you work: (Hybrid, onsite Lithia, FL OR Plymouth, MN)

As the EBS Inventory Lead you will start your career with Mosaic learning about our distribution and inventory services so you can support the monthly inventory processes and freight payment processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy overall inventory management and freight. The leader will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and service providers to align with the organization's needs and priorities, ensuring efficient operations and continuous improvement in processes.

What Will You Do

• Manage the inventory control activities at various plant and warehouse locations, ensuring accurate inventory records and compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with regional focus points to streamline inventory processes and implement best practices.
• Oversee the freight payment processes ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies and improve payment processes.
• Approve monthly inventory reconciliations and inventory adjustments.
• Responsible to ensure internal controls are effective and requirements are being met.
• Lead and develop a team of inventory control and freight payment specialists.
• Provide training, support, and guidance to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in freight payment and inventory control.
• Implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  
  

What Will You Need

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business is required
• 7 years’ experience in inventory, freight, or related areas in business
• People and/or process leadership preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills is required
• Willingness to collaboratively challenge the business and create innovative solutions
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated and self-directed
