Pay: $100,000 - $150,000 annually (based on related experience) plus full benefits and a 9/80 schedule!

ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
Seeking an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Airframe Engineer or Senior Airframe Engineer.
So, if you have at least 3 years of experience and meet all the basic requirements, then we would love to hear from you!
The ideal candidates with have experience in preliminary and detailed structural design, with a working knowledge of structural analysis. The company’s ongoing program is focused on the design, fabrication, and test of an advanced composite low-weight unmanned aircraft. The successful candidate can come from either automobile or aerospace industries and will perform tasks in all phases of airframe design, analysis and test including:
- New Airframe (Aircraft/UAS/Automotive Airframe) concept to design prototyping to manufacturing experience.
- Load-Path Determination
- Basic Structural Analysis
- New aircraft or auto prototyping AND design for Manufacturing
- Supplier Management
- Knowledge of other UAS systems such as rotors and transmission design is a plus
BACKGROUND PROFILE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in airframe or vehicle engineering.
- Worked with new concepts mono cockpit designs of either aircraft or motor vehicle
- SolidWorks and/or CATIA design experience is required (5000 hours). SolidWorks is a must.
- 3-D Solid modelling experience.
- Surfacing experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of Metallic and Composite Stress analysis.
- Familiarity with military structural qualification standards is a plus.
- BS or MS in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
