What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Use a consultative approach to sell advertising on assigned categories and accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, advertising agencies, and industry partners.
- Manage agency coverage and relations, ensuring strong partnerships and maximizing advertising opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, editorial, and product development, to create compelling advertising solutions that meet client needs.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- 6 years experience in multi-platform advertising sales with a track record of reaching or exceeding sales targets
- Expert knowledge of products across print, digital, programmatic, events, content marketing, newsletters, and social media.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills - an outstanding ability to build relationships, influence and navigate within a complex organization
- Proven ability to grow new business and find new revenue opportunities
- Excellent ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task
- Can model positive energy and handle stress in the face of challenges
- Experience in closing business
- Proficient with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
- Travel as business requires
