We are seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, utilizing advanced technology solutions to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and maintain optimal inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, hands-on experience in warehouse management, and a deep understanding of technology systems to drive operational success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Warehouse Operations Management : Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all functions (receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping) are executed efficiently and accurately.
- Technology Integration : Implement and manage technology systems such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RFID, barcode scanning, and automated sorting technologies to optimize inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance.
- Inventory Control : Utilize technology to monitor and control stock levels, perform regular audits, and ensure the accuracy of inventory records. Identify and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze operational data, generate reports, and use insights to recommend improvements in processes and reduce operational costs. Leverage technology to monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, shipment times, and inventory turnover.
- Team Leadership : Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to meet operational goals while ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures. Encourage the adoption of technology tools and systems among staff.
- Process Improvement : Continuously assess and implement process improvements using technology to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and speed up turnaround times.
- Safety and Compliance : Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to OSHA and company safety standards. Implement technology-driven safety protocols where applicable.
- Vendor & Equipment Management : Work with third-party vendors and equipment providers to ensure the proper functioning and integration of technology solutions. Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment, including automated systems and machinery.
- Budget Management : Manage warehouse budget, focusing on technology-related investments, operational costs, and personnel requirements to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Requirements :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Technology Skills : Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and inventory management tools. Experience with automation technologies (robotics, RFID, barcode scanning, etc.) is a plus.
- Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze data and use technology to make data-driven decisions that enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, managing performance while fostering a positive work environment.
- Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve operational issues and technology-related challenges.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with different departments and external vendors.
- Preferred Skills :
- Experience with cloud-based technology solutions.
- Knowledge of the latest trends in supply chain and logistics technology (e.g., AI, IoT, predictive analytics).
