The Procurement and Logistics Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring efficient procurement and logistics operations at the Primavera Foundation. Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Work assignments may vary depending on the department’s needs and will be communicated to the applicant or incumbent by leadership):
- Source and procure materials, supplies, and equipment required for company operation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate terms and pricing agreements.
- Coordinate and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
- Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Manage documentation related to procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed to facilitate procurement and logistics processes.
- Adherence to and demonstration of Primavera’s guiding principles of integrity, respect, accountability, compassion, and leadership.
- Other duties as assigned

- Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 2 years experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including database programs.
- 3-5 years experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Experience working for/with a non-profit organization
- Office cubicle or shared office environment, with a moderate level of interaction and office noise.
- Ability to work seated at a workstation for a minimum of four hours per day, with intermittent standing, walking, bending stooping
- Visual acuity and hand dexterity to work with computer systems (monitor, keyboard), reports, and other data sources, reading/entering/processing data and figures
- Ability to use basic office equipment, including computer, fax machine, printers, copier/scanner, adding machine
