Quality Project Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED required, associate degree or higher preferred
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, environments, and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively train essential personnel in relevant principles and programs
- Working knowledge and application of continuous improvement principles, root
- Strong computer proficiency (MS Office Suite), and data entry aptitude, with the
- Positive can-do attitude with a demonstrated proactive approach to problem solving
- Possess a willingness to learn and seek personal growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Duties (not all inclusive)
NOTE: Administration of the following responsibilities applies to all TRC locations.
- Testing and inspection of products at various stages in the production process
- Processing, compilation, and evaluation of statistical data to determine and maintain
- Interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications, schematic diagrams, or
engineering staff in determining quality and reliability standards
- Assistance with monitoring and inspection of development trials in cooperation with
- Review of specification sheets to ensure compliance, including development and
Development and Technical Management
- Collection, filing and recording of all production paperwork and samples
- Ensure proper documentation of all customer returned materials through final
- Completion of receiving inspections
- Regular updating and maintenance of quality log
- Collection of necessary samples for managers and supervisors
- Conduct of required standard and ad-hoc quality testing
- Continuous improvement with plant personnel to prevent recurring rejections
- Completion of various projects as assigned by managers and supervisors
- Support and administration of SQF Certification and related documentation
- Compilation, maintenance and distribution of rewind specifications to personnel
- Mastery of multiple production processes (printing, lamination, slitting, conversion)
- Compilation, generation and distribution of CoAs for specified products
- Review and documentation of production paperwork for accuracy prior to filing.
- Weekly reporting to Quality Management personnel, Product Development and
- Maintenance of a clean work environment, thoughtful database-driven organization
- Regular review of current manufacturing procedures for accuracy. Coordination of
- Quarterly performance of glass and brittle plastic audits quarterly
- Other duties as required
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with
qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and
