Position Overview:
Schebler is seeking a talented and motivated System Release Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in reviewing, revising, and releasing models, drawings, and materials for the Chimney Division. This position requires proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities. Responsibilities:
- Revise existing models/drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD based on job-specific information.
- Check and verify other drafters' work according to guidelines set by the chimney division and customer information.
- Create custom part detail drawings for manufacturing purposes.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to gather necessary information for material release.
- Provide a finalized bill of materials to the order entry team.
- Manage and oversee the timely release of materials to the production team to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Update and maintain processes and standards for releasing materials to fabrication.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Design Supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Associate's degree in CAD or Engineering Technology (preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years of CAD design experience (preferred).
Necessary Skills:
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo/ProE, SolidWorks).
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Project).
- Experience with part libraries, process improvement, and document management.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work with diverse personalities and backgrounds.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience working with parts lists/BOMs.
- Revit experience.
