Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Engineer at Strong Rock Engineering Group in Raleigh, NC. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to Civil Engineering Design, Planning, Stormwater Management, and overall Civil Engineering responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineers skills
• Experience in Planning and Stormwater Management
• Strong background in Civil Engineering
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Proficiency in relevant Civil Engineering software
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Civil Engineering, Licensed EI (North Carolina required, licensure in other states not required, but will be considered)
• PE License (not required, but will be considered)
• Intermediate understanding of civil design and plan preparation including Civil3d, Utility modeling and design, stormwater design, grading & drainage design, and erosion control
• Some understanding of Due Diligence and Entitlement
  
  

Job Scope will include

• Residential and Commercial Land Development
• Engineering design, calculations, and reports.
• Due diligence and site feasibility analysis
• Assistance with re-zoning & master site plan administration including assistance with neighborhood meetings and public hearings
• Initial Scope: Site plan and Construction Document preparation & approvals
• Short Term Growth Scope: Exposure to clients and municipal staff; Project Management Training
• Medium to Long Term Growth Scope: Project and Client Management
• Client and municipal interaction
• Business development not required but will be rewarded with performance bonus
