We are seeking qualified applicants to build a deployment-ready cadre, prepared to support response operations as opportunities arise. Applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD).
Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections to assess structural and civil engineering components of disaster-damaged infrastructure.
- Develop and review designs, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, including damage assessments, recovery strategies, and compliance findings.
- Utilize FEMA's Grants Portal to document and manage project records with full transparency.
- Provide technical expertise on determination memorandums, appeals, and compliance with FEMA's Public Assistance guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including program delivery managers and site inspectors, to develop recovery solutions.
- Stay updated with FEMA policies, procedures, and training requirements.
Requirements
5 years of experience in a related field and professional registration or
IS-1000 : Public Assistance Program and Eligibility
