Do you love sales, networking, and have a passion for seniors? The Village at White River Junction is recruiting for a Sales Counselor to join our team! This position is responsible for working with the Director of Sales & Marketing to successfully build occupancy through professional outreach and networking, a strategic sales plan, and attention to detail in the move in process. Supports the Director of Sales & Marketing in generating inquiries, handling prospects, conducting tours, entering and utilizing data entered into the CRM lead management system and other activities necessary to achieve budgeted census goals.
Salary : $25 - $30 / hourly Commission Structure

- Actively participate in any community outreach efforts.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to plan and implement lead-generation activities that result in generating sufficient qualified inquiries to meet move-in goals.
- Handle inquiries to the community via phone or drop-in. Must be able to quickly establish rapport and complete a thorough discovery to address prospect needs.
- Follow the ExSell with LCS sales process and utilization of ExSell Connection Sheets.
- Conduct tours of the property. Able to effectively overcome objections and ask for the sale.
- Conduct personal follow-up with variety of prospects. Able to identify and make recommendations for addressing objections / needs.
- Complete paperwork and data entry into the lead management system on a daily basis.
- Keep up-to-date on competition including their strengths and weaknesses. Identify ways to overcome any objections.
- Actively participate in any in-house marketing events.
- Actively participate in generating resident and prospect referrals
- Completion of daily lead advancing activities (phone calls, emails, text messages, video messaging, home visits as needed) in compliance with key performance indicator (KPI) goals.
- Works in conjunction with the Director of Sales, clinical team and business office manager to ensure that all move in paperwork is obtained from clinical partners and prospective resident.
- Associates degree or higher preferred (emphasis in sales / marketing preferred).
- Two years’ experience in marketing / sales.
- Experience in senior living, social work, hospitality, sales, business development, or real estate preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms and CRM systems (Salesforce a plus, but not required)
- Basic understanding of senior living or healthcare systems (Home Health, Hospice, Dementia care, etc.)
