Thomas Thor currently has a very long-term contract opening for a Grant Writer with an electric utility client in Richland, WA.
The Grant Writer position is a resourceful, detail oriented and collaborative team member that will play a crucial role in securing funding opportunities to support initiatives in clean energy. This position will focus on composing grant proposals tailored to the unique needs and goals of our electric utility client and its members. The successful candidate will possess exceptional writing abilities, research skills, and a deep understanding of grant funding processes and requirements.
Job Duties:
· Develop compelling grant proposals aligned with organizational objectives.
· Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to support the grant development process.
· Support the research and identification of grant opportunities from various sources.
· Evaluate and refine grant-seeking strategies based on feedback and emerging trends.
· Cultivate and maintain relationships with grant-making organizations and community stakeholders.
· Management of other projects within the Energy & Professional Services department as needs arise.
