- As a Field Engineer 4, you will work in a highly directed environment.
- Your assignments will include repair activities such as replaceable unit swapping, image loading, and unit testing using a detailed script.
- You will also perform other non-troubleshooting duties.
- Direction will be provided by script, help desk or service desk in a Next Business Day (NBD) and/or Same Business Day (SBD) service delivery environment.
General Job Information:
- Candidate will be taking PC hardware break fix calls at various locations.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass drug and background screening.
- Must be able to complete required product training.
Required Skills:
- DELL Desktop PC, Install/Support, Expert
- A Certification NOT REQUIRED, but PREFERRED!

- Extensive driving is a requirement of this position. Are you willing and able to drive 2 to 3 hours to deliver services to one of your customers?
- This position requires a substantial amount of administrative work (via iPhone), such as real-time reporting of your time and location and documenting your activities in the ticketing system for each service call. Is this something you will have an issue with?

- Occasionally you may be required to work beyond the end of your planned shift (for example, to work past 5:30 pm). Are you willing to work late on short notice? (Overtime compensation will be provided as required by local, state, and federal law.)

- The dress code for this position is business casual, which means wearing dress pants such as slacks or khakis, a collared shirt (tucked in), and dress shoes. - Obtaining Dell computer certification is a requirement for this position. These certs will COST you NOTHING, and are done after the interview (if you are selected) on your own computer at home, open book. Evidence of certification must be submitted before a job offer is extended.
