General Description
The Administrative Assistant position is critical for providing leverage to the advisor’s time. This role keeps the daily operations of the practice running by utilizing Thrivent computer systems and programs in support of client scheduling, service requests, and data entry.
Responsibilities
- Support the lead advisor with variety of functions and tasks
- Interfaces with clients extensively to coordinate meetings, mailings, and other communications.
- Answer all incoming calls and disperse them and any messages appropriately
- Maintain client correspondence including compliance and marketing mailings
- Prefill client applications, paying careful attention to detail and accuracy
- Document client meetings as well as any trades being made
- Maintain adequate office supplies and professional appearance of the office areas
- Schedule all meetings and provide driving directions
- Maintain the Lead advisor’s calendar
- Update CRM systems as needed
- Maintain internal mailing lists, birthday card lists, and monthly calling lists
- Maintain physical or electronic file
- Input checks received into the blotter and on client posting sheets
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as an assistant in a professional services firm preferred
- Securities or insurance industry experience preferred but not required
- Expert knowledge of Office applications
- Knowledge of CRM systems, phone systems and office equipment
Career Progression
As the firm grows some administrators move into Office Professional responsibilities.
Compensation
Compensation varies significantly based on the strategy of the practice, the compensation philosophy of the practice, the specific qualifications and experience of the individual, the location of the practice and many other factors.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
