Job description
TID SYSTEMS is a family- owned and operated technology company based in Reno. We’re growing steadily and it’s time to add additional sales team members for the smart automation and security markets covering both commercial and residential markets. These persons will develop relationships with commercial and residential builders, developers, and business owners to provide security and smart automation systems for their commercial locations and home buyers. They will also prospect within the commercial market for business applications of these technologies.
Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Conduct sales visits within a protected territory.
- Research and identify sales opportunities by prospecting using both modern and more traditional methods. This includes cold calling by phone, canvassing in person, email campaigns, social media outreach, networking and strategic alliances.
- Execute on all phases of the sales lifecycle: identify and qualify opportunities, develop the value proposition, present solutions, close sales, and follow up to ensure client satisfaction.
- Represent TID Systems with a high level of professionalism and build network of industry relationships and connections.
- Daily logging and maintaining of current records on all prospect interactions for scheduling and tracking purposes in our CRM.
Outside Sales Representative Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) outside sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of audio/visual technologies and equipment helpful but not required
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Willingness and ability to become an expert in the field over time.
Outside Sales Representative Working Conditions:
- Occasional field travel may be required during the week.
- Full- time position Monday – Friday hours.
