Deposit Operations Representative / Spencer NY

The Deposit Operations Representative positions are responsible for accurate and timely processing of electronic files, such as CK21, 4Sight, ACH and ATM card ordering. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring the accuracy of deposit account and customer records, wire transfers, e-Banking services, file maintenance, handling disputes, research, fielding and resolving deposit account related questions, processing manual direct deposits, restraining notices and other legal documents and assisting retail staff with questions on deposit related processes & services.

Essential Functions / Major Duties

• ATM/Debit Card Management
• ATM/Debit Card Dispute Management
• CD & IRAs Review and Posting
• Safe Deposit Box Review and Posting
• Wire Transfer Processing
• Various File Maintenance
• Basic Understanding of Systems and Products that directly relate to Deposit Operations (non-primary responsibilities)
• Process daily work & files
• Review records & transactions for accuracy & compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Balance and reconcile accounts as needed
• Promote a positive team environment
• Positive communication skills
• Participates in creating operating efficiencies in areas of primary responsibility
• High-Level of Computer Competency

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• High level of computer competency
• Proficient keyboarding and data entry skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality is a must

Education and/or Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• A minimum of 2 years banking experience preferred.
• Notary commission preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25 - $20.62 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
