Job Description

The Dispatcher at Black Rock Services in Albuquerque, NM, is responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of asphalt and aggregates to contractor customers. Key duties include verifying orders, scheduling trucks, assigning haulers, and ensuring efficient material flow to and from job sites. The dispatcher must manage haulers and distribute work fairly, ensuring all project schedules run smoothly.

Job Requirements

• Confirm orders and update truck schedules.
• Assign trucks based on order requirements and ensure fair distribution.
• Enter delivery details, including tonnage, cycle times, and scheduling.
• Notify haulers of assignments and manage them throughout the day.
• Ensure efficient flow of materials and adjust as needed for optimal project execution.
• Conduct daily wrap-up and ensure accurate load and ticket counts.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
