This role is pivotal in overseeing the preconstruction phase to ensure accurate cost objectives related to contracting, scheduling, estimating, and bidding. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs by managing blueprints, specifications, and related documents while engaging with prospective bidders.

What Can You Expect:
- Quantity surveying and other associated basic assigned tasks to assist in producing project estimates and support the preconstruction team.
- Check Plans and Specifications to ensure all documents are correct and received.
- Maintains preferred vendor and subcontractor bid list and ensures accuracy of contacts listed.
What You Bring To The Table:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a construction estimator or in a similar role.
- Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: All Preconstruction Software that may include: Outlook, Excel, Bluebeam, Building Connected, On-screen Take Off, and Procore.
- Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for each project to ensure accurate cost estimations.
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates by assessing all project components and phases.
- Present detailed cost estimates to upper management, providing clarity and insights to facilitate decision-making.
- Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.
- Prepare thorough reports that outline all costs associated with each project, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Input cost data into the company database for accurate record-keeping and future reference.
- Monitor and analyze discrepancies between estimated and actual costs to refine estimating processes.
