- We are a specialized periodontal practice providing top-quality patient care in a professional and friendly environment. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our team and assist in surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the periodontist during examinations and surgical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control protocols
- Take and develop digital X-rays, scans and impressions as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Support front desk operations when needed, including scheduling and patient communication
Requirements:
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA)
- Experience in a periodontal or surgical dental setting is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in taking X-rays and assisting in surgical procedures
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of dental software is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 28 per week
