Topcon Healthcare is offering an internship program from June 2, 2025, to August 14, 2025. This is a paid program located at our Oakland, NJ office. The hours for this program are Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 5 PM. Join the Topcon Healthcare team to gain real-world skills and knowledge that will shape your education and career path.
The Marketing and Event Intern will assist the marketing department in advertising, promotional efforts, and integrated marketing communications (MarCom). The main duties include supporting clerical and administrative functions, collaborating on media campaigns, preparing promotional materials and presentations, and contributing to content development. The events intern will work directly with tradeshow staff in event planning, promotion, and execution. Daily responsibilities will include coordinating with vendors on event logistics, attending planning meetings as needed, and organizing materials and supplies.

Expected Base Pay Range: $22.00 to $25.00 hourly based on degree level.
The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.

- Coordinate inventory with Exhibit House.
- Assist with promotional items, presentations, and marketing collateral creation.
- Support logistics, paperwork, and tradeshow date management.
- Manage tradeshow bookings and registrations.
- Conduct research on industry shows and competitor activities.
- Assist in supporting live webinars, social media campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate on the creation of email campaigns, newsletters, and press releases.
- Help craft content for blog posts, case studies, and customer testimonials.
- Provide creative input for promotional videos and visual marketing assets.
Majors, minors, and/or concentrations in one or more of the following are preferred:
- Marketing
- Business
- Communications
- Event planning and execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Quick to learn and adapt to new software and platforms
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team/cross-functional environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools
- Prior event coordination experience is a plus
